Glorious Brass Bringing a five-piece brass band from New Haven to Norwalk, this concert will feature Monteverdi madrigal arrangements by Ray Mase, quintets of Victor Ewald, and Sketches of Anthony Plog, whose works are flourishing, brilliant, and sure to shake the walls of St. Paul’s with glorious sound. With Oscar Mason, trumpet; Eric Rizzo, trumpet; Jake Fewx, tuba; Wil Wortley, trombone; and Stephen Newbury, horn. Suggested donation for the concerts is $15.

Mendota Consort: The Magic of Monteverdi A journey through Monteverdi’s compositional style, The Magic of Monteverdi aims to present an enriching program to audiences far and wide. The Mendota Consort, an ensemble of passionate vocalists, seeks to share Monteverdi’s unique approach to painting poetry through music. Please come and join us for a magical afternoon!
